Public Health Preparedness

Hui Clinic + Surgery is a
Swab and Send Home (SASH) Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC)

As a Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC) and Swab and Send Home (SASH) clinic, we are able to perform government funded swab tests (ART/PCR) for patients who present with  respiratory tract infections or fever with no localising symptoms. These are subject to the conditions laid out by MOH.

Please bring your NRIC or birth certificate, along with your PG / MG / PA and CHAS card, where applicable.

Our patients’ safety is our utmost priority. Due to the COVID-19 situation, our clinic already has established work flows and different waiting zones for different groups of patients. To enhance the safety of our patients even more, do call our clinic at 6458 8596 for an appointment time to see the doctor before coming to the clinic. This is to help reduce physical waiting time at the clinic and facilitate further segregation of our patients.

Important notice for patients referred by another clinic to be swabbed at Hui Clinic + Surgery

If you have been referred by another clinic to be swabbed at Hui Clinic + Surgery, please call us for an appointment at 6458 8596.

Present yourself to Hui Clinic + Surgery SASH PHPC early after getting the referral from the referring clinic. If you present yourself within 48 hours with a completed referral form, you will not need to pay for the consultation and swab at the receiving SASH PHPC. However, if you present to the SASH PHPC after 48 hours from your visit at the referring clinic, or if you do not bring along a completed referral form provided by the referring GP, you will need to be reviewed by the SASH PHPC clinic again. In such cases, you will be charged as per a regular Flu Subsidy Scheme (FSS) acute visit, if you are Singaporean / Permanent Resident or eligible Foreign Worker. If you are not eligible for FSS or CHAS, the consultation fee charged by the SASH PHPC applies.
